William Bailey Ltd was founded in 1919 as a family business and 100 years on still is today covering New Build, Refurbishment and Maintenance Contracts with a turnover of circa £14m and employing approximately 65 staff and operatives.
William Bailey Ltd design, supply and install a full spectrum of Building Service disciplines across various sectors of the industry, namely: – Education, Health & Leisure Centres, the Retail & Food Sector, Hotels & Student Accommodation, Historical Buildings, High End Residential, the Motor Industry and HM Prisons.

All staff involved in the Contracts Division have between 10 and 40 years experience in all aspects of Building Services and Maintenance.
All Engineers are fully qualified and trained with appropriate Gas Safe cards along with Health and Safety, CSCS, Site Supervisors SSSTS cards and First Aid Training.
All works are fully covered by job specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements which will be assessed on a ‘site by site’ basis prior to any works being undertaken with any abnormalities or unsafe appliances being identified prior to works commencing. These also cover all necessary PPE for the task in hand.
William Bailey Ltd predominantly undertake designs and BIM CAD work in-house with support only from external Building Services Consultants for the Part L Building Regulation requirements (SBEM, Thermal Model and EPC).
As a senior Director Stuart Bailey is involved in a supervisory capacity with support offered to our Design Team on a day to day basis. In addition to this we have engineers for both the internal design and BIM CAD work who have previously had considerable experience in various sectors across the market.
Outsourced design, namely the SBEM and Thermal Modelling would be undertaken by external Building Services Consultants with ourselves fronting the interface matrix requirements for data collection to feed into this from the other members of the Design Team.
