Description of Works –
The failed boiler has been replaced and the installation modified to create primary and seondary circuits as detailed below:-
- Modifications to existing plantroom pipework to create a new 150mm dia. low loss header with new primary and secondary connections.
- Installation of new Viessmann replacement boiler.
- Modification of boiler primary return circuit incorporating new boiler shunt pumps.
- Alteration of boiler return connections to incorporate individual expansion vessels.
- Modification of secondary circuits from the new loss header including new commissioning valves. and new blending bypass downstream of the existing chilled/heated beam mixing valve.
- Installation of new valved branches into common boiler flow & return headers to allow provision for future connection of temporary boiler plant in an emergency situation.
- Alterations/additions to the existing Building Management System to facilitate/integrate the system modifications.
