Description of Works – The new Millside Academy building is a new Build comprising mainly of Teaching classrooms, with some Staff Offices, Dining Hall, Studio and Main kitchen. The Building is predominantly used as a Teaching facility for young infant school students.
The academy was designed to facilitate a variety of market leading highly efficient mechanical services throughout, namely:-
- Classroom Heat Recovery Units
- Air Source Heat Pumps
- Air conditioning
- Hot Water Systems
- Local Extract Fan Systems
- Heating convectors
- Metering
All of above operating under full automatic control by the Trend Building Management System to achieve full energy efficiency.
